NSW: Trio robs Sydney bank
Police say three men robbed a bank after threatening staff in the southern Sydney suburbof Rockdale late yesterday.
A police spokeswoman says the trio, all wearing balaclavas, entered a St George bankbranch on the Princes Highway through a rear door at around 5.15pm, and forced staff tolie on an office floor.
The spokeswoman says demands for money were accompanied by verbal threats.
The staff complied and handed over a quantity of cash before escaping.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
