SA: SA holiday road toll at two
South Australian police have appealed for witnesses to the state's second holiday road fatality.
A police spokeswoman says a 74-year-old man died when two cars collided at Christies
Beach in Adelaide's southern suburbs last night.
She says the vehicles, a Renault sedan and Nissan 300ZX, collided at the intersection
of Flaxmill and Morton roads about 9.15pm CDST.
Major crash investigators have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact
Crime Stoppers by telephoning 1800 333 000.
SA's first road fatality in the Christmas-New Year period happened Friday afternoon
when two vehicles collided head-on at Woodside, south-east of Adelaide.
